On February 2, 2022, the American Psychological Foundation announced that Kate Turetsky, assistant professor of psychology, has been awarded a 2021 Visionary Grant. The award seeds innovation by supporting scholars who engage in innovative research, education, and intervention efforts that advance psychological knowledge and application in key areas. Turetsky, who studies group dynamics, intergroup relations, stress, stigma, and inequality, won the award for her research, titled “Understanding and Ending Racial Bias in Early Education Assessment."
