Psychology Major Checklist
Use this form to help plan and review your major coursework on your own, or in consultation with your advisor or the Chair. You will be asked to submit this form to the Department Administrator during your final semester at Barnard.
Psychology Independent Study Form
Complete this form with the faculty mentor who has agreed to supervise your project; this is especially important if you will work with faculty or in a lab outside of Barnard. Both you and your mentor should keep a copy of this form (you do not need to submit this form to the Registrar).
Senior Thesis Proposal Form
You can complete this form before or after an initial consultation with your advisor or the Chair in your junior year. Please keep a copy of this for your records, and share with all faculty involved in your research, and with the instructor of the Thesis course the following semester.
Senior Requirement Form
This form indicates which course you will use to fulfill you Senior Requirement which is completed by enrolling in any 3000-level PSYC or NSB course, worth three or more points, and receiving a "pass" or "pass with distinction" on the course's final paper or project. Note that both you and the instructor of the course must sign the form. You will be asked to submit this form to the department administrator by the drop date of the semester you take the course.
BC3473 Clinical Field Practicum Application
If you are interested in enrolling the annual spring course, PSYC BC3473 Clinical Field Practicum, you must submit this form to Profs. Marjorie Silverman and Julia Sheehy in the prior fall semester. This course requires that you obtain an off-campus externship in a clinical setting.
Experiment Information and Participation Receipt
This form is used by our PSYC BC1001 Introduction to Psychology course to record students' participation in experiments throughout the semester. It is submitted to the instructor by the end of the term. Please direct questions about this form and requirement to your instructor.
